Baby it's cold outside
Emily wanted to wear shorts yesterday to school. I told her it was cold outside and to change into pants and she replied that it was sunny. I said sunny doesn't always mean warm so I sent her outside in her shorts for a few minutes :) Evil Mommy trick. It worked. She put on pants right away :) Today she was more than willing to listen to me when I suggested pants and a long sleeve shrit.

So funny! It was all I could do to get Caleb into pants and long sleeves this week, but he just about flipped when I suggested he wear a jacket. I am the meanest mother in the whole wide world, or at least that's what he told me before he realized that he was more comfortable in the early morning chill when he wore his coat!
